Tips for saving on camps
- Ask about financial assistance. The city offers discounts on Summer Playgrounds, but you have to register by phone or in person at the center to get them.
- Watch for one-day free clinics. Clubs and leagues often run them in late summer, just before fall registration.
- Mark registration day. City camps fill fast once registration opens in early April.
- Pay week by week. The city lets families register by the week, as space allows.
